No, Bormioli Rocco can only ship to addresses located in the continental USA. We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes - please provide a valid street address where your order should be shipped.

It depends on where you are. Orders will ship within 5 business days of being placed and we only ship Standard UPS Ground. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

We use UPS Ground for most orders. Replacement parts usually ship with USPS and have a flat shipping rate.

We do not sell the wire bail replacements, as the jars come already assembled from Italy, however we have a partner, that buys the jars and sells replacement wire bails and gaskets.

All of our glass products past and present are lead, cadmium, BPA, arsenic and heavy metal free.

Bormioli Rocco brand glassware can be found in most major retail stores across the USA as well as in Canada. Check with your local retailers for availability.

Most of our glassware is dishwasher safe. We recommend that oversized items and decorated items be hand washed. Please refer to the back of the packaging for care and handling instructions.

Most of our glassware is made at our factory in Fidenza and Parma, Italy. Some of our items are manufactured for us by skilled artisans in glassworks in Spain, Germany, Turkey and China.

Stemware and thin crystal: generally not for microwave/oven and need to avoid thermal shock.

Some of our products are microwave/freezer/oven safe. This is clearly stated in the product description page. If the product description page doesn't mention that the product is microwave/freezer/oven safe, it means it's NOT.

wash items on top rack, spaced so pieces don’t touch each other, use moderate temperature and if possible use gentle cycle, after washing remove and hand-dry.

Yes. Our tempered, XTL treatment and Opal Glass items are the most resilient items.

We are unable to sell single pieces through our website. Other vendors might sell our product in different configurations.

All replacement parts offered are listed on the website. All other products sold in the U.S. come pre-assembled from Italy.

If you believe we should add an additional replacement part to our website, please email ask@bormioliroccous.com your suggestion, and we will pass along for future approval to the factory in Italy.

Since our items are shipped by sea from Italy, we do not post ETA'S on the website. Please email ask@bormioliroccous.com with the item you're interested in and we will do our best to provide an ETA.

The majority of rim chips and stem breaks is caused by contact with other items in the dishwasher, high heat, twisting of the bowl or stem, or sudden temperature change.

Industry guidance favors tulip for aromatics while preserving bubbles; flutes for presentation/effervescence; coupes for cocktails/retro style.

A universal tulip-shaped wine glass is widely recommended by editors and sommeliers as a versatile choice. We recommend glasses with a 11oz to 15oz capacity.

The one time use of the gaskets is for when you are doing pressurized canning with the jars. If you do NOT intend to can, the gaskets will last longer with hand washing.

In order to produce glass of the highest quality, we prefer to manufacture our products from the purest of materials and not recycled glass. We do have certain collections that are made from recycled product.

Glass is infinitely recyclable; the Bormioli Rocco sustainability reports emphasize circularity goals and low-emission melting (e.g., electric furnaces; future hydrogen).

Bormioli Rocco Opal Glass products are synonymous with:
• Total hygiene thanks to the absence of superficial porosity (does not absorb impurities)

The toughening technology (rapid surface cooling), acting on the glass molecular structure, makes the Bormioli Rocco products particularly:
• Resistant to mechanical shocks (impact),
up to 2.5 times more than non-toughened glass
• Resistant to thermal shock (resistant to thermal shocks ΔT from 100° C / 212°F to 160°C / 320°F depending on the item)

The toughening technology makes Bormioli Rocco products highly-safe for intensive use.

The XLT treatment on the surface of the stems ensures Bormioli Rocco stemware resistance to the most frequent causes of breakage (washing, twisting, etc.).

XLT protects the stem from abrasion and maintains its sturdiness over time. Laboratory tests (see explanatory chart) confirm the constant level of protection even after repeated dishwasher cycles.

Thermal process to strengthen the rim of the tumbler. As a result of this process the rims will be up to 2 times more resistant to mechanical shock than non-toughened rims.

Mass colored glass is the process of coloring the glass during the production phase.

This process allows the color to remain
unchanged throughout the lifespan
of the glass. All “Infinity Color” products
are dishwasher-safe.

This specific lacquering technology guarantees a high level of flexibility in terms of choice and treatment of colors resulting in a wide range of collections in line with the latest trends. All products lacquered with organic colors are suitable for food contact.

USE & CARE
In order to preserve the brightness of the colors the following instructions are recommended:
• Hand washing: avoid the use of abrasive sponges and aggressive detergents
• Dishwasher: use a delicate cycle and a maximum temperature of 50°C (122°F)
• Do not keep the products in water for too long and dry carefully after washing
